At the beginning of this class teacher Cristian provided students a quiz about the last unit 3 " School Objects" After that, it was my turn to do the warm up ,and i explained the game called " Try to reach the moon" I divided the class in two teams , they had to throw the die and get a number , so he or she jumped in that number,and the students who reached at the end of the hopscotch ,they will have a point for ther group.
Then, teacher Cristian presented the target vocabulary about professions. He used flashcards and labels to explain the professions one by one. Also, teacher encouraged students to repeat the pronounciation of those words, and he asked to use the question What do you want to be? and answered I want to be a _____.
Besides, teacher Nelson gave a worksheet to each student to match the image with the correct object according to each profession. Moreover, Teachers assigned students in two groups they had to play a memory game in the board, so if they find the correct image with the label they will asked the question What do you want to be? and answer according to the prefession they find.
In the production stage teachers ordered students in two lines ,and student A asked the question What do you want to be? and student B answered I want to be a doctor; then, they changed the turn.
To conclude, teacher yansi passed the ball and counted from 1 to 5 ,and the student who has the ball , he or she had to answer according to the flashcards that they teacher showed them I want to be a pilot.
Congrats Nicole, you and your colleagues prepared a nice class. I loved every activity you performed because that encouraged Ss to participate and that facilitates their learning. The decoration of the class and the materials that you elaborated were really attractive and colorful for the senses, that is why your students felt very comfortable in the lesson.
