Practice 13 Verb to Be (I am , He is ,She is)

At the beginning of the class teacher Carlos explained some rules in the classroom that students had to obey. Then, teacher Guillermo divided the class in two teams.Teacher gave to each group a ball ,so they had to throw the ball in the circle ,and the circles points in which students will achieve points for their group.

The next stage teacher María José presented the grammar topic. It was about "verb to be " related to the professions. She gave examples of each image,and she encouraged to pronounce the sentences Who is she? and answer She is a doctor, so teacher asked some students to pass in front of the class ans pur in him/her a mascara and say the profession that they want to be.

In the practice stage teacher María José provided a worksheet in which had to write the appropriate verb for the different picture of professions, she asked a student to pass in front of the class and check a sentence.

Moreover, teacher Mariana used three differents color sticks ,she explained the activity in which had to say the correct verb be according to the color stick ,so teacher showed the profession in a flashcard and students said the verb be.

The production stage was performed by teacher Mariana ,she provided instructions for the activity ,and she modeled the role play .Ss had to prepare a short conversation and used the sentence Who are you? and asnwer I am a____ some students passed in front of the class and they did a mini role play.

    

Finally, teacher Carlos gave instructions of the activity , so that students had to pass the balloon and the person who gets the ballon he/she says the correct profession by using the verb be.
